朱慧玲英国肯特大学工程系副教授(Reader),主要致力于无线通信领域的研究。曾获得2011年IEEE Globecom最佳论文奖,2014年至2016年入选欧洲委员会玛丽·居里学者计划。曾担任IEEE Globecom 2015和IEEE ICC 2018的两个会议的Symposium Chair,以及IEEE VTC2016春季和VTC2018春季的Track Chair。朱慧玲副教授目前为IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology编委。

摘 要:Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs) are an emerging technology that enables the control of radio signal transmission directions without relying on digital signal processing or power amplifiers. This innovative approach can effectively steer signals around obstacles, leading to stronger received signals and enhanced network capacity. In this talk, we will examine the impact of wireless channels on the phase design of RISs. Additionally, we will explore the integration of active beamforming and passive phase design within a two-tier network architecture. Finally, we will discuss challenges, open problems, and future directions in this evolving research field.
